
Kylie Teston
Assistant Director
Mrs. Kylie Teston has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Frostburg State University and a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting from Messiah University. In 2014, Kylie returned back to her home of St. Mary’s County and began her teaching career at her alma mater - Leonardtown High School. Since the start of her tenure at LHS, her choirs have received “Superior” ratings at both the District and State Adjudications. Kylie has also been the Music Director for the musicals at Leonardtown High School as well as Three Notch Theatre. She has served as a clinician, judge, and manager for numerous events, such as Solo and Ensemble, District adjudications, as well as All-County Chorus. She has served on the Maryland Choral Music Educators (MCEA) Board and has helped coordinate All-State Choral events for both Junior and Senior level. As an active musician, Kylie has also performed with St. Maries Musica and served as the Assistant Music Director. She also sings and plays for the Worship team at SouthPoint Church. Kylie believes in being a lifelong learner, and always strives to be the best version of herself, not only for her students but for her community.
