Kristin Helming

Kristin has been teaching at Charles County Public Schools for 18 years. First at the middle school level and now at North Point High School for the last 15 years. She conducts five choirs during the school day as well as the a cappella group after school. The North Point High School choirs consistently earn Superior and Excellent ratings at the District and State level adjudications. She loves to motivate her students to realize their academic and musical potentials and enjoys using music as the way to help encourage positive personal growth. Kristin received her BM and MM from Ithaca College in Music Education. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, (Go Bills!) she now resides in Southern Maryland with her husband Matthew, her biggest supporter. They are the proud parents of two fun loving children, Delaney and Elliott.
