Christopher Limjuco

Christopher Limjuco is a conductor, vocalist, and educator from St. Mary's County, MD. He holds an M.M. in Choral Conducting from Shenandoah Conservatory and a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Ave Maria University. His musical experience spans choral, band, and orchestral conducting across K–12 and higher education, as well as musical theatre, opera, and sacred music performance throughout the United States and Europe. His artistic interests center on vocal and choral pedagogy, sacred music and choral masterworks, and community-centered music-making, rooted in the belief that a beautiful, unified sound grows from the relationships among the people who create it together.

Deeply influenced by Pope St. John Paul II’s ""Letter to Artists,"" Christopher approaches artistry through three guiding principles: Kapwa, the Filipino value of shared identity and interconnectedness; Serviam (“I will serve”), a commitment to placing his gifts at the service of others; and Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam (“For the Greater Glory of God”). Together, these principles shape his belief that artistry is not simply an act of self-expression, but a means of service, connection, and community through which something of the nature of God may be revealed.
